An EP Wad, also known as an Expanded Polyethylene Wad, is a lightweight and versatile sealing liner used inside plastic and metal caps for jars and bottles. It is made from expanded polyethylene foam, which provides excellent cushioning, flexibility, and sealing properties.

EP Wads are commonly placed inside caps to ensure a tight closure between the cap and the container mouth. They prevent leakage, protect contents from contamination, and maintain the freshness of products. Unlike induction seals, EP wads do not require heat sealing, making them easy to use and cost-effective.
